They cut it to the bone, didn't they?
I hate "literary non-fiction." Makes me want to appeal to something sharp.
Literary non-fiction tends to be neither.
I now understand the cutting brutality of the phrase, "This may appeal to the general reader."
My original sentence: replace "general reader" with "war groupie."
