So apparently the murder of a soldier outside an Arkansas recruiting center "may signal an ominous new wave of violent homegrown jihadists, counterterror officials say."
One incident is a trend.
America has a long history of extremely serious political, economic, and racial violence. It wouldn't surprise me to see a "new wave" of violence. But one shithead is still just one shithead, and the hyperventilation about ominous new waves of swarthy REDRUM is a budget maneuver.

If you think this is a single, isolated incident, then you haven't been paying attention.
Numerous acts of violence have been committed by someone who announces to all listening that the motive was Jihad. Therefore these are examples of, you guessed it, Jihad.
Religious violence is returning to the West courtesy of Moslem fundamentalism.
It's funny how a guy who ranted about Wallmart employees saying "Merry Christmas," can't summon any righteous indignation about religiously inspired murder. I'm sure that Private William Long's murderer's trip to Yeman was just a coincidence.
