"To release the photos is, to me, sheer voyeurism".
Translation: Everybody already knows everything that they show so it wouldn't serve a purpose.
"Such a release would be tantamount to a death sentence to some who are serving our nation in the most dangerous and difficult spots like Iraq and Afghanistan."
Translation: If people ever find out what we did they'll kill a bunch of soldiers for sure!
